Rider checking the BrakeAce app on the trail

How BrakeAce works

Wireless brake sensors on your bike, plus an app that maps every brake to the trail. Record a run, review your braking on a trail map, compare the next one — that's the loop.

Metrics

What gets measured

On every run the brake sensors record these signals on both brakes. The app turns them into your trail map and Key Opportunities; the web dashboard lets you dig into the detail.

Braking intensity

How hard you brake at every moment — the force behind each front and rear brake.

Duration

How long each brake lasts, from a fleeting tap to a long, dragging hold.

Location

Exactly where on the trail each brake happens, mapped point by point.

Temperature

Brake temperature through the ride — spot fade before it costs you control.

Modulation

How smoothly you apply and release — the difference between grabbing and finessing.

Front / rear balance

How you split braking between front and rear, corner by corner.

Mechanic fitting BrakeAce brake sensors to a mountain bike

01 · Install

Fit the brake sensors

The brake sensors replace the 20 mm spacer between your frame and brake caliper, front and rear. Standard post-mount calipers on most modern MTBs. Most riders are recording within minutes.
